Two examples of tidal power are shown on these pages. One, the Rance tidal barrage, is described in the T206 textbook, "Renewable Energy" and in the dvd collection. The other, Eling Tide Mill, near Southampton has been around for many hundreds of years, but operates on the same principles. It is worth a visit for those living in or visiting the Southampton area.
