SRP Annual Festival
Cleveland Recorder Society hosted the Society of Recorder Players National Festival in 2009. This successfully took place on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April, 2009.

The 2011 Festival will be at Cheddar in Somerset. More details to follow later.
Recorder Summer School
The Recorder Summer School is held annually in July. Since 2007 it has been at Bishop Burton College near Beverley. The dates for 2010 are Saturday, August 7th - 14th. Details may be found on the Recorder Summer School Website.
Scottish Recorder Festival
The annual Scottish Recorder festival is half day event organised by the Scottish Branches in rotation. The 2010 Festival was held in Edinburgh.
Norvis
NORVIS Early Music summer school is held annually in Durham. Dates for 2010 are Saturday 31 July to Saturday 7 August 2010. Details may be found on the NORVIS website.
Folkworks
For those who like to play traditional music, Folkworks, based at the Sage, Gateshead, run a series of events and workshops including an Annual Summer School, a series of "Absolute Beginners'"days where you can try out a new instrument and a weekend workshop in October.
