My name is Geoff Walker and I live in Middlesbrough, UK. I am retired.
My personal interests include music; I play the recorders (in various sizes), wooden flute, ukulele, harmonica and anglo concertina.
My main musical interests are folk music and early music. I play in Ceddesfolk Ceilidh Band and am a member of Cleveland Recorder Society and of the North East Early Music Forum.
I am interested in rail transport in its various forms and used to be involved in railway modelling, an interest that is dormant at the moment.
The quotations on the home page reflect another interest of mine, calligraphy. Many of them were written out by me.
